A new wave of music has emerged from the UK, featuring fresh singles and collaborations from artists making headlines. The Last Dinner Party are set to release Prelude To Ecstasy: Acoustics and Covers on October 11, debuting with a cover of Sparks' 1974 classic, This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us. This deluxe edition will showcase reimagined tracks from their Mercury Prize-shortlisted debut album alongside a short film to be streamed on their YouTube channel following a special screening in Soho on September 12. The band has enjoyed widespread acclaim over the past year, capped off by a series of sold-out tours in both the US and Australia, and are preparing for three performances at London’s Eventim Apollo.

Meanwhile, Cian Ducrot continues to make waves with his latest single Can't Even Hate You. Released after his chart-topping album Victory, this heartfelt track explores themes of post-breakup vulnerability and emotion. Ducrot has opted for a deliberate approach towards his upcoming second album, striving for artistic integrity and a connection to the now.

Adding to the roster of new releases, dance music legends Andy C and Becky Hill have collaborated on Indestructible, a track that fuses Hill's soaring vocals with Andy C’s signature beats. The song, built on years of anticipation among fans, promises to be a high-energy anthem.

Lastly, Liverpool's STONE has shared a new version of Save Yourself, featuring DOPE LEMON. This rendition of the closing track from their debut album Fear Life For A Lifetime marks a stylistic shift for the band, incorporating a more acoustic sound that underscores themes of mental health and social media addiction. STONE's frontman, Fin Power, expressed his excitement at collaborating with one of his musical icons.
