Mneskin frontman Damiano David is set to embark on a solo career with the announcement of his debut single titled "Silverlines." The track is scheduled for release on September 27, 2024.
After an explosive summer filled with festival appearances, Damiano teased his new endeavor via a moody video shared on his personal Instagram account. In the clip, he stated, "I travelled all around the world to find my voice, just to end up where everything's started. My name is Damiano David. And today, is the first day of my life."
This upcoming single marks the first official offering from the Italian singer-songwriter outside of his work with Mneskin. The collaboration with British producer Labrinth, known for his work with prominent artists such as Beyoncé, Zendaya, Rihanna, and The Weeknd, sets the stage for an exciting sonic exploration.
Damiano has been a key figure in Mneskin since the band's formation in 2016 in Rome, eventually gaining international acclaim. Their victory at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest with "Zitti E Buoni" propelled them to worldwide fame. Mneskin's discography includes three albums, the most recent being "Rush!" released in 2023.
