Eminem has confirmed the release of an extended edition of his recently released album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grce), now titled the Mourner's Edition. This new version is set to include four additional tracks, which feature a skit as well as notable collaborations. Among the new offerings is the track "Fuel," which includes contributions from Westside Boogie, Gripp, and Kyrie & Luka featuring 2 Chainz.
Earlier in the month, Eminem teased the album with a visual that showcased an unexpected encounter with The Alchemist at a convenience store, creating intrigue among his fanbase. The original edition of The Death of Slim Shady proved to be a commercial success, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and selling 281,000 equivalent album units in its first week. This achievement marks Eminem's 11th album to top the charts, tying him with iconic artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand, and Ye for the fifth-most No. 1 albums in history.
Additionally, the album set a record for the biggest sales week for a rap album in 2024 and registered the second-largest sales week for a digital album this year, coming in just behind Taylor Swift.
