On September 15, 2024, Dave Grohl's representatives officially debunked a viral post on Instagram that claimed he fathered a child outside his marriage. The post, which circulated earlier this week, featured an Instagram user asserting she was the mother of a baby girl named Roxie Junie Grohl. This claim emerged shortly after Grohl revealed he had indeed become a father to a daughter outside of his marriage to wife Jordyn Blum, with whom he shares three daughters: Violet, Harper, and Ophelia.

The Instagram post included a heartfelt caption describing the experience of motherhood, with statements that drew a connection between the infant and Grohl's physical features. The user expressed deep emotions about how much of Grohl's essence could be seen in the newborn, claiming, "It's amazing how much of him is already shining in you. Your dad is so proud that you carry on his family's spirit."

However, a representative for Grohl confirmed to TMZ that the social media claims were false. As of now, Grohl has not publicly disclosed any details regarding the identity of the mother of his fourth child or offered any comments about the viral post.

In related news, both Violet and Harper have deactivated their Instagram accounts. Violet, who has garnered attention for accompanying Gaslighters on tour, was recently praised by Grohl as an extraordinarily talented musician. The Foo Fighters are set to perform at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on September 29. For those interested in attending, tickets are still available.
