David Gilmour's latest album, Luck And Strange, is set to potentially debut at No. 1 on the UK albums chart this week. The record has sold 26,362 copies so far, with a significant proportion stemming from physical sales. Specifically, 23,425 of these sales are attributed to physical formats, while 2,258 came from downloads and 679 from streaming services.

In the current chart standings, Gilmour's Luck And Strange is followed by Sabrina Carpenter's album Short N' Sweet, which has sold 13,783 copies. Notably, Oasis holds three positions in the top five, with Time Flies 1994-2009 at third place with 8,952 sales, Definitely Maybe at fourth with 7,698 sales, and another of their albums landing in fifth.
