David Gilmour has released a new video for the title track of his latest studio album, Luck And Strange, which features contributions from the late Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright. Debuting last week, this album marks Gilmour's fifth solo effort and his first new music in nine years. The tracks featuring Wright stem from jam sessions recorded back in 2007 at Gilmour's barn, where both musicians laid down several improvisational pieces.

In a recent interview, Gilmour reflected on the experience of recording these sessions, recalling a particularly cold Monday morning. "What was going through my addled brain I don't know it was fucking freezing in that barn," he shared. Despite the challenging circumstances, the music created during these sessions has been revived in Luck And Strange, making the video feel both nostalgic and comforting for Gilmour as he plays alongside Wright once again.

To support the album, Gilmour has announced two special rehearsal performances slated for September 20 and 21 at the Brighton Centre. These intimate shows will serve as an exclusive preview of his upcoming tour, which starts in Rome at the Circus Maximus on September 27. The tour will also include performances in London at the Royal Albert Hall, as well as stops in Los Angeles and New York. Fans can look forward to a blend of new material and classic Pink Floyd hits. Notably, Gilmour made a surprise appearance at Hove’s The Neptune Inn, where he performed the iconic "Wish You Were Here" with his daughter Romany, who is also featured on Luck And Strange.
