The First Presbyterian Church (FPC) of Stillwater, Oklahoma, is currently seeking a full-time Director of Music and Organist/Pianist with a commitment of 40 hours per week. This role offers a competitive salary range of $48,000 to $58,000, based on experience, and includes medical or retirement benefits.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor of Arts degree in organ or church music, or equivalent training and/or certification experience. Physical ability to navigate the choir loft and organ is required. Additional qualifications include a willingness to engage with the congregation and facilitate various musical expressions in worship.

In this role, the selected individual will be responsible for playing the organ and directing the FPC Chancel Choir, which consists of over 20 voices supported by Choral Scholars from Oklahoma State University's Greenwood School of Music. Duties also include preparing for Sunday morning services, seasonal services such as Christmas Eve and Ash Wednesday, leading choir rehearsals, and overseeing all music staff.

Additionally, the Director will collaborate with the pastor in selecting hymns, maintain the church's musical instruments, communicate with the congregation through newsletters and bulletins, and engage in professional activities to foster a vibrant music ministry.
