Over the weekend, Drake dropped a surprise for fans by releasing three new songs on his Finsta account @plottttwistttttt. The tracks, titled "Circadian Rhythm," "SOD," and "No Face" (the latter featuring Playboi Carti), mark a shift in focus for the artist following the summer's ongoing beef with Kendrick Lamar. Though fans are speculating about the timeline of when these tracks were recorded, one track, "SOD," has been previously linked to streamer Kai Cenat, who previewed it as "Supersoak."

The initial version of "SOD" featured a verse from Lil Yachty, but it was removed after Yachty's attempts to clear a sample from Mr. HotSpot were met with failure. Interestingly, some fans have inquired about a possible rift between Drake and Yachty after noticing that Yachty stopped following Drake on social media.

"Circadian Rhythm" could potentially be a response to Kendrick Lamar's diss in his track "6:16 in LA," where he rhymes about the struggles of fame and its consequences. Additionally, in "No Face," Drake seems to address the silence of other rappers regarding the beef, mentioning, "I'm just so happy that n****s who envied and held that shit in got to finally show it."

Fans can now hear the new tracks on Drake's website 100gigs.org, following a recent release of a significant folder filled with unreleased music and behind-the-scenes content. This latest announcement signals Drake's intent to move forward musically, focusing on new content rather than lingering conflicts.
