Swedish four-piece band Girl Scout have announced the upcoming release of their new EP titled Headache, set to hit the shelves on November 8, 2024. The announcement accompanies the release of their second single, "Honey," which explores the bittersweet experience of friends drifting apart. According to band member Emma Jansson, "Honey" articulates the complex emotions tied to heartache and the frustrating struggle to maintain relationships amid changes. Jansson noted that the song's sonic evolution transitioned from its initial acoustic form to a more pronounced 2010s indie rock style.

Headache follows their debut EP, Real Life Human Garbage, released in February 2023, and their subsequent EP, Granny Music, which came later that same year. The tracklist for Headache includes the following songs:

  • Desert Island Movies
  • Honey
  • Headache
  • I Just Needed You To Know
  • I’m So Sorry

In addition to this news, Girl Scout has announced a ten-date tour for early 2025, which will take them through various UK cities. The tour will kick off at London’s Lower Third on February 13, 2025, and will include stops in cities like Manchester, Glasgow, Nottingham, Bristol, and Brighton.
