Gazelle Twin, the British electronic artist known for her haunting and innovative sound, has revealed her upcoming album, Shadow Dogs, scheduled for release on October 18, 2024 via Invada Records. This album will showcase a series of reinterpretations of tracks from her critically praised album, Black Dog.

Featuring contributions from a diverse lineup of artists including Keeley Forsyth, Gary Numan, Mark Jenkin, Marta Salogni, Penelope Trappes, and Sealionwoman, "Shadow Dogs" promises to offer new perspectives on Gazelle Twin's already esteemed work. The album opens with BEAK>’s dynamic remix of the track 'Fear Keeps Us Alive', which sets the tone for the reinterpretations to follow.

The project reflects Bernholz’s ongoing exploration of the connections between audio-visual technology and concepts of haunting. She stated that the album is meant to act as a collective pack of ghostly versions of her previous work.

In addition to the album announcement, Gazelle Twin will present a unique performance at the British Library in London on November 1, 2024. This show will feature a special reworking of Black Dog, performed in collaboration with the London Contemporary Orchestra. The performance is part of the library's Tales of the Weird season, which aims to delve into themes of the uncanny and horror.

Furthermore, Gazelle Twin’s music will also be featured in the stage adaptation of the British horror film, Saint Maud, which opens at the Live Theatre in Newcastle on October 10. This aligns with her recent collaborative efforts that explore horror and unsettling themes.

For fans interested in the sonic evolution of Gazelle Twin, the Shadow Dogs album, alongside performances of Black Dog, are shaping up to be significant highlights of her artistic journey.
