Hinds, the Spanish indie pop band, has unveiled their latest single, 'Stranger,' featuring Grian Chatten, frontman of the acclaimed Dublin band Fontaines D.C. The release coincides with the launch of Hinds’ new album, VIVA HINDS, which promises a rich blend of emotional themes and vibrant melodies. The album also includes other notable singles like 'Boom Boom Back' featuring Beck, 'The Bed, The Room, The Rain and You,' and the band’s first-ever Spanish single, 'En Forma.'

In a statement regarding their collaboration with Chatten, Hinds described him as a "good old friend” and reflected on their connection established during a show in Dublin when Fontaines D.C. were just beginning. They expressed admiration for each other’s work, noting that their collaborative efforts allowed them to confront heavier themes present in their music. As stated by the band, "Feeling the heaviness of existence and not recognising your own self. Fontaines D.C. taught us to embrace that darkness."

VIVA HINDS exhibits production by Pete Robertson, known for working with Beabadoobee, and features mixing by Grammy-winning engineer Caesar Edmunds, associated with The Killers and Wet Leg. Hinds will soon embark on a tour, with performances scheduled in cities including Berlin, Paris, and major U.S. cities like San Francisco and Chicago. Their London show at Lafayette on September 13 is already sold out, reflecting their growing popularity.

Hinds previously faced lineup changes, announcing the departure of bassist Ade Martín and drummer Amber Grimbergen. Despite this, the band has expressed their determination to continue, stating, "We've been through something very hurtful but we're gonna carry on: we believe in Hinds more than anything in the world."
