HOB Entertainment, LLC is looking for a skilled Sound Engineer for their House of Blues venue in Dallas. This role is pivotal in ensuring that show and event productions run smoothly by overseeing technical aspects related to audio production. The successful candidate will be responsible for several essential functions including the Load-in & Out of band equipment, setup and breakdown of equipment, cabling, patching, and collaborating with the production crew.
Working in this position requires excellent auditory skills to make audio adjustments and maintain safe levels. Candidates should have experience operating audio control boards and overseeing visiting audio technicians during shows. Additional responsibilities include interacting with local and national audio vendors, protecting and maintaining audio equipment, as well as assisting with lighting and stage management.
A minimum of 3 years of tour and stage production experience is required, alongside proficiency in pro audio systems, stage lighting, and video systems. Successful candidates will possess superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a moderately loud environment.
