James Palmer-Bullock, a veteran manager and founder of the artist management company The Wild Seeds, has passed away, as confirmed by a representative to Resident Advisor. Palmer-Bullock was known for his impactful role in the music industry, having managed notable artists including Max Cooper, Derrick Carter, and Guy Andrews.

Through his company, The Wild Seeds, Palmer-Bullock provided a range of services such as artist support, label services, and mentorship. He also co-founded the artist platform Mesh with Cooper, nurturing a creative community that included artists like Manni Dee and Guy Andrews. His impact extended beyond managing artists to guiding labels like Intrepid Skin and Silk + Steel.

Tributes have poured in following his death, highlighting his remarkable ability to connect with people. Guy Andrews spoke fondly of Palmer-Bullock, stating, "James had a beautiful way of connecting with people. He was interested in your story, respected you, and wanted the best for you." Andrews reflected on Palmer-Bullock's dedication to helping artists grow organically without pressure, emphasizing his genuine love for those he worked with.

Rob Booth from fabric echoed similar sentiments, describing Palmer-Bullock as "the bubbliest of characters" and an incredibly warm person. In a joint statement from his colleagues at Mesh and The Wild Seeds, they remarked on his altruistic nature and creative vision, saying he left behind a legacy that will inspire others.

Palmer-Bullock is survived by his wife and three children. His contributions to the local community, as well as the music industry at large, have left an indelible mark that those who knew him will carry forward.
