Downtown Music is currently looking for a Coordinator, Sync Licensing to join their Sync Licensing department. This modern global music company is dedicated to creating a more equitable music industry and serves prominent songwriters alongside emerging artists. The role is hybrid and will ideally be located in New York City or Nashville.
As a Sync Licensing Coordinator, you will work closely with the Senior Manager of Sync Licensing, handling a range of synchronization licensing and administrative tasks for Downtown Music Publishing’s extensive catalog. Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating licensing agreements across various mediums such as film, television, advertising, and video games. You'll also manage agreements, follow up on invoices, develop relationships with licensees, and identify new opportunities to exploit Downtown’s diverse catalog.
Candidates should possess 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally in music publishing or a related field. Strong understanding of music licensing and excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
