Liam Gallagher has publicly expressed his disappointment for fans who were unable to secure tickets for the highly anticipated Oasis reunion tour. The frontman took to Twitter on September 7, stating, "I'm seriously gutted for people that can't get tickets. I can't even go there; it hurts my heart." He acknowledged the frustrations surrounding the ticket purchasing process, which faced numerous complications.

Oasis announced their comeback after a 16-year hiatus, leading to enormous demand for tickets. Online ticket sellers experienced crashes, and many fans reported getting kicked out of queues after waiting for hours. This chaotic ticket sale led to notable public figures commenting on the issues, including Louis Tomlinson, who also missed out on tickets.

The ticketing debacle included complaints about Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing policy, which saw ticket prices surge due to high demand. Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy called for a review of this pricing strategy, indicating that the matter might breach consumer law.

In the wake of the controversy, Oasis released an official statement, distancing themselves from the pricing strategy, clarifying that they were unaware of the implementation of dynamic pricing during ticket sales. They plan to conduct an invite-only ballot ticket sale for two additional Wembley shows scheduled for September 27 and 28 as a way to address the backlash.

Amidst the turmoil, Gallagher has also addressed speculation regarding the band's motives for reuniting, saying, "There's lots of reasons for doing it: family, fans, music, biblical vibrations...so all those money rumors are just not true." As tensions lower between the Gallagher brothers, Liam shared his excitement for performing alongside Noel, stating, "Peace has prevailed; I can't wait to be on stage with him blowing him kisses in between each song."

In additional Oasis news, the band recently topped the UK Album Chart with the reissue of their iconic debut album, Definitely Maybe, marking their first number one in 14 years. The group has also put notable memorabilia up for auction to celebrate their legacy, including handwritten lyrics and Noel's custom guitar.
