Toro y Moi, the versatile musician known for his eclectic approach to music, has officially announced the release of his eighth studio album titled Hole Erth. The album arrives as a continuation of his expansive discography that has consistently showcased a wide range of genres and influences. Hole Erth comprises 13 tracks with a total runtime of approximately 41 minutes, allowing listeners to immerse themselves in Toro’s artistic evolution.
The album includes notable collaborations with various artists, such as Benjamin Gibbard on the previously released single "Hollywood," and Kevin Abstract along with Lev on the track "Heaven." Other contributors include Duckwrth and Elijah Kessler on "Reseda," glaive on "Starlink," and Don Toliver and Porches on "Undercurrent," with Donny T also featuring on "Madonna."
In conjunction with the album launch, Toro y Moi has shared music videos for two tracks, "Babydaddy" and "Madonna." The latter highlights the changing nature of his music, with lyrics that resonate with his approach to genre fluidity: "Love the way you change / How you always switchin' genres / One moment at a time / That's my new mantra."
