During the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards held on September 11 in Elmont, New York, Damiano David, the lead vocalist of Italian rock band Måneskin, shared significant insights into his forthcoming solo project set to debut on September 27, 2024. In an exclusive interview with The Associated Press, David expressed his enthusiasm for this personal creative endeavor, stating, "I've been working for a long, long time on a new project and September 27 is the date of release, so I would love everyone to stay tuned."

David elaborated on the nuances of working solo compared to being a part of Måneskin, hinting that listeners can expect a fresh sound. "There's going to be a lot of new things," he teased, while maintaining that the band remains intact: "The band is great. We are going to work on stuff. Nothing is going to change."

Additionally, fellow band member Victoria De Angelis participated in the VMAs and shared insights about her own solo project titled "Get Up Bitch (Shake Ya Ass)," which features a collaboration with Brazilian superstar Anitta. De Angelis aimed to quell concerns regarding rumors about potential band disbandment after their recent tour, emphasizing that Måneskin is both unified and strong.

David recently stirred intrigue with a cryptic Instagram teaser featuring a monologue that read, "I travelled all around the world to find my voice, just to end up where everything's started." Fans have speculated this could refer to the title 'Everywhere,' indicating the potential for a new single or album.

Måneskin's last full-length album, 'Rush,' was released in 2023 and garnered mixed reviews, yet was noted for its dynamic live performances. As anticipation grows for the solo initiatives of both David and De Angelis, Måneskin's influence continues to resonate in the music industry, keeping their fanbase engaged.
