Scottish post-rock quartet Mogwai has released a video for their new single, titled God Gets You Back, a six-minute keyboard-led track. This single is the band's first new release since their chart-topping album, Love Conquers All, which reached Number One on the UK album charts in 2021.

The new song features a unique vocal component, incorporating lyrics created by the daughter of multi-instrumentalist Barry Burns. In describing the collaboration, Burns mentioned, "It needed some melody or vocals, but I couldn't come up with the lyrics so I asked my 7-year-old daughter to make some up, and she did and I sang them."

Alongside the new single, Mogwai has announced an extensive world tour set to take place across February, March, April, and May 2025. The tour will kick off in Amsterdam at the Paradiso on February 4th and will conclude in Dallas, Texas on May 4th. Notably, the tour will include several UK stops in London, Leeds, and Edinburgh during February.

Guitarist Stuart Braithwaite expressed excitement for the upcoming performances, stating, "We are immensely excited about heading out on our first worldwide tour since the pandemic. We’re going to some brilliant places and can't wait to perform our new songs."

Tickets for the tour will go on sale with a presale beginning at 10 AM BST on September 18, a venue presale on September 19, and general sales starting on September 20. Additionally, the band will partner with the charity War Child, contributing $1 from each ticket sold to support their cause.

For those interested, the complete schedule and details can be viewed in the announcement and on the band's official platforms.
