A man attempted to enter the Sisyphos Nightclub in Berlin by crashing his vehicle into its entrance, following his refusal of admission by security staff. The incident occurred early last Sunday morning in the Lichtenberg area, prompting serious concern among local authorities and patrons.

Sources indicate that the individual was denied access due to unspecified reasons, which often include dress code violations or the discretion of the bouncers on duty. After being turned away by two security guards, the man returned later in a rented Audi and rammed it into the nightclub's gates multiple times. The gates of Sisyphos are a distinctive feature of the venue, famously decorated with two kissing ducks.

The impact from the crashes caused minor damage to the gates, along with some degradation of the adjacent wall. Despite the visible chaos, the driver fled the scene in the vehicle. Police are currently conducting an investigation to ascertain the identity of the suspect, who was last seen heading toward Ostkreuz.

This type of behavior is uncommon but highlights potential security challenges faced by popular nightlife venues in Berlin. The Sisyphos Nightclub, known for its vibrant atmosphere, now finds itself at the center of a law enforcement inquiry.
