UK electronic artist Mr. G has announced the release of his ninth studio album, titled The Fifth Chakra (Ambient Space Tek), set to drop on October 25, 2024, via his own label, Phoenix G. The forthcoming album will feature ten tracks that explore what Mr. G describes as "sound system electronica."
The artist emphasizes that the new LP is largely beatless, showcasing a meditative approach to sound. In a statement, Mr. G expressed, "Never did I think I'd get to a meditative place and learn restraint. This is the album I've always wanted to make, never thinking I could." He continues, reflecting on the joy of creating his own bass-heavy sounds while maintaining a focus on "weight and tone in whatever I take on."
The Fifth Chakra (Ambient Space Tek) follows last year's Pearls Don't Lay On The Shore, which was recommended by Resident Advisor. The album will include tracks like "So It Began One Tuesday (Ambient Space Tek)" and "Solar Eclipse NYC," along with the lead single, "He's Friend........And More."
