Patti Scialfa Reveals Myeloma Diagnosis In E Street Band Film
Patti Scialfa has disclosed her diagnosis of multiple myeloma, a blood cancer, in the documentary 'Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band.' Married to Bruce Springsteen since 1991, Scialfa will no longer tour with the band due to her treatment affecting her immune system. She was diagnosed in 2018 while Springsteen was performing on Broadway and has performed infrequently since then. The documentary premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and will be available on Hulu in October.
