Today, musician Suki Waterhouse releases her sophomore album, Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, a sprawling 18-track collection that includes prominent tracks such as the Top 20 AAA radio single Supersad and the recently unveiled video for Model, Actress, Whatever. The album is now available across multiple formats including CD, 2xLP, cassette, and digital streaming platforms via Sub Pop.

Memoir of a Sparklemuffin showcases Waterhouse's artistic versatility, enriched by collaborations with notable producers and musicians including Eli Hirsch, Jonathan Rado (who has worked with Weyes Blood and Father John Misty), Brad Cook, Greg Gonzalez, Rick Nowels, and the band Ttrruuces.

Reviews indicate that the album has garnered a dramatic presence, being described by All Music as a double-length LP that aligns Waterhouse with contemporary artists like Lana Del Rey and Angel Olsen. The diverse styles of the album feature diary-like lyrics intertwined with balladry and pop-rock influences. Notably, Supersad has been emphasized by Rolling Stone as a polished garage-rock anthem.

To support the release, Suki Waterhouse is set to perform in the Amazon Music City Sessions, which will be streamed live on September 19 from Los Angeles. Fans can tune in to the event through the Amazon Music channel on Twitch and Prime Video, starting at 6 PM PDT.

Additionally, Waterhouse's Sparklemuffin Tour is scheduled to launch on September 28 in Denver, covering 25 cities including Los Angeles, New York City, and Atlanta. An upcoming performance will see Waterhouse support Mitski at Portland's Moda Theatre on September 21.
