Danish-Brazilian garage duo The Courettes have unveiled their latest single, "Keep Dancing," accompanied by an official music video. This track serves as the lead single from their forthcoming album, The Soul Of The Fabulous Courettes, which is set to be released on September 27 through Damaged Goods. The single was mixed by the iconic Richard Gottehrer, renowned for his work during the 1960s.

"Keep Dancing" represents a significant evolution in The Courettes' sound, expanding on the sonic groundwork established in their previous album, Back I Mono, released in 2021. While the band continues to draw from their garage-punk and girl-group influences, this new release embraces darker lyrical themes. Vocalist Flavia has shared insights into the song's personal nature, in particular, its reflection on her relationship with her father, who passed away due to COVID-19. She noted, "It's a special subject to sing about and to make pop music out of... It's actually celebrating moving on, and I think that's really fantastic."

In support of the new album, The Courettes will embark on a UK tour starting September 25 in Hull, culminating in their largest show to date at The Dome in Tufnell Park, London, on October 4. Pre-orders for the single are available on pink vinyl through Damaged Goods.
