Danish-Brazilian garage duo The Courettes have officially unveiled their latest single, "Keep Dancing," accompanied by an engaging music video. This track serves as the lead single from their forthcoming album, The Soul Of The Fabulous Courettes, which is set to be released on September 27 through Damaged Goods.

"Keep Dancing" illustrates a notable evolution in The Courettes' sound, building upon the sonic foundation laid in their previous album, Back I Mono, which was released in 2021. While the band maintains their roots in garage-punk and girl-group influences, the new track embraces darker lyrical themes. Vocalist Flavia provided insights into the song’s personal nature, revealing its introspective reflection on her relationship with her father, who passed away due to COVID-19. She stated, "It's a special subject to sing about and to make pop music out of... It's actually celebrating moving on, and I think that's really fantastic."

In support of the new album, The Courettes will embark on a UK tour starting September 25 in Hull, culminating in their largest show to date at The Dome in Tufnell Park, London, on October 4. Fans can pre-order the single on pink vinyl through Damaged Goods.
