He remarked, "The success of a solo record lies in how it represents you at that specific time, removing any notion of 'return to form.'" Since moving to London in 2012, Moore has enjoyed a unique blend of solo autonomy and collaborative synergy with his wife, Eva Prinz, who has contributed lyrics and album designs for his recent works.
Moore emphasized the instrumental diversity present in Flow Critical Lucidity, asserting it distinguishes this album from its predecessors. With more varied instrumentation and contributions from notable musicians like James Sedwards and electronics expert Jon Leidecker, he believes this new record tackles subjects of environmental consciousness without becoming overtly preachy. The album's latest single, The Diver, tells a haunting true story of a diver's fatal accident in Lake Geneva, offering a poignant reflection on life's fragility.
