Linkin Park has officially announced that Emily Armstrong of the rock band Dead Sara has been recruited as their new vocalist. This marks a significant development for the band, which has been navigating the aftermath of the tragic death of Chester Bennington in 2017. Members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix, and Joe Hahn have recently reconvened to discuss the future of the band, deciding against an attempt to revive the band as it once was. Instead, they focused on preserving Linkin Park's legacy while forging a new path forward.

The band revealed their upcoming album, titled FROM ZERO, which is set to be released on November 15. Fans can pre-order the album online here. Ahead of the full album release, Linkin Park has shared the first single, "The Emptiness Machine," marking their return to the music scene after nearly a decade.

Mike Shinoda described the album's title as a nod to their first band name, Xero, and alludes to the current journey the band is undertaking. He mentioned that the music represents their past, present, and future, maintaining their signature sound while infusing it with new life.

In addition to the album, Linkin Park has announced a handful of international tour dates, including a significant performance at the O2 Arena in London on September 24. The FROM ZERO album tracklist includes:

  1. From Zero (Intro)
  2. The Emptiness Machine
  3. Cut The Bridge
  4. Heavy Is The Crown
  5. Over Each Other
  6. Casualty
  7. Overflow
  8. Two Faced
  9. Stained
  10. IGYEIH
  11. Good Things Go

As Linkin Park steps into this new chapter, they express gratitude to their longtime fans and bandmates, embracing an evolving sound while honoring their legacy. More information about their upcoming events and music can be found here.
