Tutti Music Academy (TMA) is currently searching for a passionate Music Instructor for a contract role focusing on teaching aspiring musicians. TMA is an online music school dedicated to providing excellent music education to students in elementary and middle school. This innovative platform not only delivers online music lessons but also connects students with qualified high-school music tutors for affordable, in-person lessons, ensuring that music education is accessible to a broader audience.
In this role, the Music Instructor will be responsible for teaching their chosen instrument and guiding students towards achieving their musical ambitions. A primary goal is to cultivate a love for music while providing a supportive learning environment right at home.
Tutors will facilitate communication with students’ parents or guardians, arrange lesson schedules, report to TMA directors, and ensure a safe learning atmosphere. Instructors can choose to work on an hourly basis or accumulate volunteer hours. They will also keep track of lesson dates and report earnings or hours to the TMA management.
Key points to consider:
- All lessons are conducted in-person, at either the instructor’s or the student’s home.
- Tutors are required to negotiate their hourly rate with TMA directors before engaging with students in the TMA network.
- While instructors control their student load, they must inform the directors when a student exits their tutorship.
- The TMA website's Linkup Feature will enable tutors to connect with students easily without needing to make additional outreach efforts.
Tutti Music Academy is looking for candidates who are high school students aged 15-18, possess at least four years of experience playing an instrument, and who are eager to teach children aged 6-13. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, in addition to a deep passion for music and education, are essential for this role.
