AditiStaffing has an exciting opportunity for those looking to break into the gaming industry as a Game Audio Engineer for Oculus. This position, which has a duration of 6+ months with the possibility of extension, calls for a professional with substantial experience in audio programming and software development.

The key responsibilities for this role include implementing software infrastructure for advanced audio techniques, such as spatial audio and room acoustics. The successful candidate will need to integrate various audio technologies within both commercial and proprietary game engines, while also maintaining and debugging existing software. An important part of the job involves collaborating with the art team to prototype new game demos and experiences.

Candidates should have at least five years of experience with C/C++ programming, alongside three years of expertise in audio middleware software including FMOD, AudioKineticWise, and XAudio. Familiarity with Unity and Unreal Engine is also required. A deep understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) systems and signal processing algorithms is essential to succeed in this role.
