Berklee College of Music is looking for passionate instructors for their Berklee City Music Boston program. This nonprofit initiative aims to provide music education to underserved youth in the Greater Boston area, specifically targeting students from 4th through 12th grade. As a part of this longstanding program, which boasts over 20 years of experience, the selected Teaching Artists will play a key role in nurturing young musicians and fostering a strong sense of community.

Berklee City Music offers a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes contemporary music, including theory, musicianship classes, ensembles, one-on-one instruction, and the PULSE online curriculum. Students benefit from unique performance opportunities, workshops with visiting artists, and mentorship from expert faculty. Two primary branches of the program include the High School Academy for students in grades 9-12, and the Preparatory Academy for grades 4-8.

Additionally, the City Music ArtsLink program provides support to public school music programs, reaching over 1500 students through instrumental and choral ensembles. Teaching Artists will have the chance to impact students in various Boston Academies and contribute to a project aimed at enriching the local music education landscape.
