During the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, which took place on September 11 in Elmont, New York, Damiano David, the lead vocalist of the Italian rock band Måneskin, disclosed details about his eagerly awaited solo album, set to drop on September 27, 2024. In an exclusive interview with The Associated Press, David shared, "I've been working for a long, long time on a new project and September 27 is the date of release, so I would love everyone to stay tuned."

David expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming project, hinting at a significant shift in sound away from his work with Måneskin. He remarked, "There's going to be a lot of new things," while reaffirming that Måneskin remains his primary focus. "The band is great. We are going to work on stuff. Nothing is going to change," he added.

Fellow band member Victoria De Angelis graced the VMAs stage, addressing the swirling rumors about the band's possible breakup after their recent tour. De Angelis is also preparing for the release of her solo single titled Get Up Bitch (Shake Ya Ass), in collaboration with Brazilian sensation Anitta. Both musicians are striving for individual endeavors while staying dedicated to their group.

Adding to the buzz, David teased fans on his Instagram through a monologue, stating, "I travelled all around the world to find my voice, just to end up where everything's started." This has sparked rumors about a new single or album possibly named Everywhere.

Måneskin's prior album, Rush, which debuted in 2023, gathered mixed reviews yet received accolades for its vibrant live performances. As fans anticipate updates regarding both David's and De Angelis's solo projects, the band's presence in the music landscape continues to resonate powerfully.
