US rapper Fatman Scoop, born Isaac Freeman III, has died at the age of 53 following a collapse during a concert in Hamden, Connecticut. The artist, known for his high-energy performances and memorable collaborations, fell near the DJ booth shortly after engaging the audience. Despite immediate medical attention and being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

The news of his passing was confirmed by his tour manager, Birch Michael, also known as Pure Cold. Michael shared his grief on social media, stating, "It is with the heaviest of hearts I announce the passing of Isaac Freeman III, known professionally as Fatman Scoop." He recalled their time performing globally together and expressed profound gratitude for Scoop's influence on his life, saying, "I love you Scoop, thank you so much for everything you gave to me."

Scoop's talent agency, MN2S, commemorated his legacy, highlighting his significant impact on the music industry. Over the course of his career, he collaborated with major artists such as Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon, and Skrillex. He had been slated to perform at the upcoming Reminisce Festival in Saint Helens, where organizers paid homage to his contributions, calling him a cherished member of the community.
