O'Connell remarked, "I couldn't really give a shit, to be honest." Deegan further elaborated, stating that the band feels constrained by a nostalgic cycle that detracts from their drive to create innovative music.
Fontaines D.C. initially rose to prominence with their debut album, "Dogrel," but their recent project, "Romance," reflects a conscious effort to explore new creative pathways.
