Jet, the iconic Australian rock band, has announced the release of their new single "Hurry Hurry," marking their return to the music scene after a 15-year hiatus. The single, along with its B-side "Un'avventura," was made available on September 6, 2024, in conjunction with the band's upcoming anniversary tour of their debut album, "Get Born."

This new material further builds anticipation for the band's tour across Europe, the UK, and the US, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking album, "Get Born." The duo of tracks signifies a return to form for Jet, showcasing their signature sound characterized by gritty, groove-laden rock and roll.

Nic Cester, the frontman of Jet, explained, "Hurry Hurry' is our first single in 15 years and a little appetiser while we continue to work on our upcoming album. We've been playing 'Hurry Hurry' live with a great response from our fans in Australia, and we're really looking forward to debuting it live at our overseas shows."

The b-side, "Un'avventura," features Cester singing in both English and Italian, highlighting his experience of living in Italy for the past 15 years. The final product pays homage to the original by Lucio Battisti while infusing a fresh rock 'n' soul energy.

Jet's upcoming tour will kick off with two shows in Italy at the end of September, continuing on to the UK and Ireland before heading to North America, including two sold-out shows at New York's Bowery Ballroom and a highly-anticipated performance at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra on November 8. Ticket details and tour dates can be found on the band's official website and associated ticket outlets.

With "Hurry Hurry" leading the charge, Jet aims to reconnect with long-time fans while attracting new audiences as they showcase their evolution and celebrate their legacy. Get ready for an exciting chapter as Jet prepares for the next phase of their career, including a new studio album slated for 2025.
