The estate of Juice WRLD has unveiled a new posthumous release titled The Pre-Party, dropping two tracks from the late rapper this morning, September 9, at 9:00 AM. The two-pack contains the tracks "World Tour (Aquafina)" and "Lightyears." The title references Juice's beloved 999 number, a symbol closely associated with his artistry.
"World Tour (Aquafina)" was first teased by Juice during an Instagram Live session back in 2018, thrilling fans who have since been eagerly awaiting its official studio release. Meanwhile, "Lightyears" features contributions from rapper Young Thug, continuing their collaborative legacy which includes previous tracks like "Bad Boy" and "Mannequin Challenge."
The beat for "Lightyears" was crafted by Nick Mira, who has collaborated with Juice WRLD on numerous occasions, contributing to hits like "Lucid Dreams," "Bandit," and "Smile."
This release follows Juice WRLD's appearance on Ski Mask the Slump God’s track "Wake Up!" earlier this summer, and is a follow-up to last December's collaboration with Eminem and benny blanco in the track "Lace It."
Fans can stream The Pre-Party now on Spotify and Apple Music.
