SPIN Magazine, a significant voice in music journalism, has made a much-anticipated return to print after a 12-year hiatus. The first issue features country music artist Lainey Wilson as its cover star, marking a historic moment as she becomes the first country artist to grace the cover in SPIN's 39-year history. The comeback issue is currently available on newsstands and includes profiles on notable figures such as Nirvana's Krist Novoselic, legendary rapper Rakim, and Guided by Voices' Robert Pollard.

Among the highlights of this inaugural issue is an extensive piece by Jane's Addiction bassist Eric Avery, detailing the band's turbulent history. Rising talents including Suki Waterhouse, Miller Campbell, Kenny Mason, and Birthday Girl DC are also prominently featured, emphasizing the magazine’s commitment to showcasing new voices in music.

Comedian and political commentator Bill Maher provides an interview with SPIN founder Bob Guccione Jr., offering insights into the magazine's evolution and the music industry at large. The second issue of the revived magazine is slated for release on December 10, continuing SPIN's effort to engage its audience through the print medium.
