Supergrass are generating excitement among fans with a new teaser hinting at an upcoming announcement set for September 16. The British band, known for their Britpop anthems, shared a cryptic post on social media early on September 13, featuring artwork of their logo in red along with the date of the announcement. The caption urged followers to "Sign up now," coupled with a link directing fans to their website's homepage.

While specific details remain under wraps, speculation is buzzing that the announcement could be tied to the 30th anniversary of their debut album, 'I Should Coco', released in May 1995. This album propelled the band into the limelight, featuring hit singles such as 'Mansize Rooster', 'Caught By The Fuzz', and 'Alright', which won an Ivor Novello Award. Fans are eager to find out whether the upcoming news pertains to a potential anniversary tour or new music.

Supergrass last released the studio album 'Diamond Hoo Ha' in 2008, although they have since offered remastered versions of their albums 'Supergrass' and 'Life On Other Planets'. In recent news, Gaz Coombes joined Johnny Marr on stage to perform a The Smiths classic at Lakefest 2023, demonstrating the band's ongoing legacy in the live music scene. This renewed attention follows the band's reunion in 2019 after their initial split in 2010. The group released a live album, 'Live On Other Planets', in 2020 to commemorate their 25th anniversary and to assist grassroots venues affected by the pandemic, showcasing their commitment to both their music and the live music community.
