Tom A. Smith, an emerging talent from Sunderland, has just unveiled his latest single titled, "I Don't Want You To Have To Remember Me For Longer Than You Ever Knew Me." This track follows a series of successful singles that have helped solidify his presence in the indie music scene. Featuring guest vocals from Alice Johnson, the lead singer of Swim School, the song showcases Smith's return to his tender songwriting roots. Despite the lengthy title, it delivers a catchy pop flair.

In a statement about the track, Smith shared, "This is in my opinion the best and most personal song I’ve ever written. I really love everything Alice and the Swim School guys have done, and I think our vocals complement each other perfectly. She was innovative while working out her harmonies to the point that I can’t imagine it without her. I’m so excited for everyone to hear it and the full-length version."

Listeners can now get a taste of this collaboration by checking out the single, which promises to be another step in Smith’s artistic evolution. For more updates and to listen to the track, visit Scientists of Sound.
