The Hip Hop Re:Education Project, Inc. is on the lookout for talented Sound Design and Music Production Instructors to join their team in the vibrant Lower East Side of Manhattan. This unique opportunity invites candidates with experience in digital music technology, songwriting, podcasting, and music production to apply for part-time positions for both semester-long and year-long residency programs.

Instructors will be responsible for leading weekly classes focused on Sound Design, crafting a creative and challenging curriculum in collaboration with the HHREP administration. Candidates should exhibit not only a solid foundation in music theory and audio engineering but also strong teaching experience along with management strategies that foster social emotional learning. The ability to engage students and help them cultivate a portfolio of creative work is key to success in this role.

Candidates will work with students to instill a sense of creative confidence while ensuring all school policies are adhered to—such as maintaining attendance and supporting student project deadlines. The role offers a pay range of $50 to $90 per hour, with expectations of 2-10 hours of work per week.
