Linkin Park is making a significant comeback, announcing a new chapter in their career with the recent introduction of Dead Sara frontwoman, Emily Armstrong, as the band's new lead vocalist. The Los Angeles-based band celebrated this shift during a special livestream concert held on September 5, where the group performed a selection of their classic tracks. In addition to Armstrong, the new lineup featured drummer Colin Brittain along with long-time members Mike Shinoda, Joe Hahn, and bassist Dave Farrell, while guitarist Brad Delson was absent from the performance.

During the concert, the band treated fans to a nostalgic set that included hits such as "Crawling," "In the End," and "Numb." Throughout the performance, Armstrong exuded enthusiasm, stating, "This is fucking fun," a sentiment that resonated with the audience witnessing this fresh era in the band’s legacy.

Linkin Park also announced their forthcoming album titled From Zero, which is slated for release on November 15 through Warner Music. This upcoming release will mark the band's first album since 2017's One More Light and is set to be preceded by the single "The Emptiness Machine." In a statement regarding the new album, Shinoda reflects on the band's journey, stating, "This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking."

The band's From Zero livestream will be available for viewing on their social media platforms for the next 24 hours, inviting fans to join in on the excitement of this new beginning as Linkin Park sets the stage for their future endeavors including an anticipated world tour.
