UK psych-pop group Temples has announced the upcoming release of a new six-track EP titled 'Other Structures,' which is set to drop on October 4th. This project reflects a nostalgic look back at their debut album, 'Sun Structures,' which debuted in 2014 and gained significant traction on the charts, leading to renowned singles and a decade-long career in touring and music-making.

The 'Other Structures' EP will unveil four unreleased tracks along with two remixes, showcasing the evolution of the band's sound over the years. Notably, the remix of 'Shelter Song' has been crafted by Serge Pizzorno from Kasabian, while Robert Leven Been, also known as Robert Turner from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, lends his touch to another remix.

Of particular interest is a new track titled 'Days Of Conquest,' which melds glam rock rhythms with psychedelic effects, creating an ethereal yet robust sound. Frontman James Bagshaw shared insights on this track, noting its origins as a demo during the 'Sun Structures' sessions. He explained, "I remember being fond of this song, and it was a pleasant surprise to go back and unearth the sonic layering. I love how the sections contrast in an interesting way, and the fact there isn't really a chorus."

Fans of the band can look forward to reliving some of Temples' early sounds while also enjoying fresh material. The excitement around 'Other Structures' underscores the band's continued relevance in the music landscape.
