On September 6, 2024, Dutch indie band The Vices announced their upcoming album, "Before It Might Be Gone," set to be released on February 7, 2025 via V2 Records. The band, recognized as a Spotify RADAR artist, has already released a single titled "Wrong Ones" and a new track called "Gold" today, which gives fans a glimpse into the themes of the album.

"Before It Might Be Gone" explores personal introspection and the challenges of self-acceptance. In an official statement, frontman Floris explained that the album reflects a journey of change, emphasizing the importance of confronting one’s past to redefine the future. He stated, "You have to feel the bad to see the way to the good," highlighting the struggle to reconcile personal issues with societal expectations.

The album's release will coincide with a series of events, including a sold-out performance at Ronda, TivoliVredenburg on December 13, 2024, followed by a European tour. The Vices are known for their eclectic sound, blending elements of Britpop, indie, psychedelic blues, and surf rock. Their previous work has demonstrated a flair for engaging melodies and lively performances, making them a standout act in the Dutch music scene. The band is also set to host their festival, ViceFest, in Groningen on September 21, 2024, and will tour America with 25 shows throughout the fall.

As The Vices gear up for the release of "Before It Might Be Gone," anticipation continues to build for what promises to be a significant chapter in their musical journey.
